本﹝10﹞月10日，太平洋自行車股份有限公司與Marunaka株式會社簽訂合約，將在日本拓展Pacific品牌自行車。Pacific自有品牌從今年初推出以來，已經登陸美、歐、日、澳等主要市場。

兩家公司強調 雙方的合作是基於彼此相同的經營理念。太平洋公司，以創作能讓車手興奮的產品作為企業的最高使命。Marunaka會社懷抱「Cycle dream」的經營理念，冀望藉由自行車來豐富人類的心靈與生活，並對維持地球環境作出貢獻。

Pacific產品系列包括Reach﹝20”高性能折疊車﹞、Carry-me﹝8”攜帶式折疊車﹞、2Rider﹝四輪雙騎車﹞、Handy﹝手驅車﹞及Micah﹝腦性痲痺復健車﹞等五項獨特的產品。

Marunaka株式會社將以Pacific獨家代理的身份，在今年的東京國際自行車展中，展示2007年的Pacific車款。展期為11月17~19日，攤位號碼為2-414。

Marunaka Co. to distribute Pacific products in Japan.

Pacific Cycles Inc. (Taiwan) and Marunaka Co. (Japan) signed an agreement on October 10, to appoint Marumaka Co. as the exclusive distributor of Pacific home brand products in Japan.

Both companies stressed that their cooperation is based on their shared business philosophy. While Pacific’s cooperate mission is to create exciting products for the serious cyclists, Marunaka has a “Cycle Dream”, to enrich human mind and life, as well as maintain the global environment through cycling.

Pacific product line-up includes five models. The flagship Reach is a 20” foldable compact bike that emulates the best full sized bicycles, Carry-me is an 8” folding bike that you can take on any public transportations, 2Rider is a 4 wheeler for 2 riders and 2 passengers, Handy is a hand-driven tricycle with options of high seat and low seat, Micah is a rehabilitation bike for persons with cerebral palsy.

Marunaka Co. will exhibit 2007 Pacific products in the coming Tokyo International Cycle Show, Nov. 17~19. Booth No. 2-414.
